My passion for this field has led me to many interesting projects and has allowed me to work on some inspiring projects where I continue to grow and work with other artists who share the same love and passion for art as I do.
In Korea, I studied Motion Graphics at Hanseo University, earning a BFA degree. I became interested in computer animation and attended the School of Film and Animation at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York, earning a MFA degree in May 2003. I had a wonderful experience working on feature films such as Garfield 2 and Night at the Museum at Rhythm and Hues Studios. Currently, I am working at RTT-USA in Pasadena, California, as a 3D artist.
I was the winner of JVC’s Tokyo Video Festival with Homecoming after 24 years. During the 2002 production of the play Peter Pan at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf, I assisted with the animation and live dance performances. I produced three computer-animated short films including The Legend of Hahoe Masks which is granted by Callahan Award. The Legend of Hahoe Masks was accepted by the Emerging Filmmakers Series at the Little Theater in Rochester, and by Film Kitchen in Philadelphia.
